Our founder, Vandana Majithia, began dancing at a very young age. Her background includes a variety of Indian folk, classical and fusion dance. Being involved with reputable & established dance academies, she gained experience performing in dance dramas & large stage productions, competitions, community shows and events. In doing so, Vandana performed in front of large audiences at prestigious venues such as The Metro Convention Centre, Queens Quay Theatre, The Living Arts Centre and The Meadowvale Theatre.
A mother of two young daughters and living in Milton, Ontario, she felt the need for them to experience what she had when she was a child. The rush of being on stage, gaining confidence, learning dance & culture, while being part of the community. Thus, Bollywood West was born!
